Broad Ripple High School has been led by a number of talented and dedicated Principals, each building on the excellent work of his or her predecessors. They have guided the school through good times and bad times . .  including the time in 1896 at which the school burned to the ground and the students were required to meet at the Broad Ripple Methodist Church at the corner of 62nd Street and Guilford Avenue.
